Trezeguet put Juventus 1-0 up on Fulham in the second minute of the game.  Fulham now needed four goals to get past Juventus in Europa action.  The Cottagers did the impossible and beat Juventus 4-1 to advance to the next round with a 5-4 aggregate.

Clint Dempsey, entering the match in the 71st minute, scored the fourth goal off an amazing chip.  Clint’s goal sealed Fulham’s passage to the next round of matches.  Here is ESPN’s full match report: Cottagers Complete Comeback

Adu scored his first goal for Aris today and it proved to be the game winner.  Adu put in a fantastic performance before being subbed out late in the game for tactical reasons.  Eddie Johnson also got the nod and had some highlight reel moments but couldn’t find the back of the net.
