FC DENVER PREMIER vs FC DENVER UNITED
Colorado Amateur Soccer League Fall 2016 Quarterfinals
Sunday October 30th –  3:30pm – Broomfield Commons (MAP)

PREMIER – 5-2 – Hitting on all cylinders after a first round playoff dismantling last night of potential #USOC2017 participant Colorado Rush. Goals coming from all over and the team playing as confident as we’ve seen all year.
vs
UNITED – 6-0 – Ran rampant over lower bracket competition all season in putting up one of the most impressive single regular seasons in FC Denver history. And United has had the upper hand on Premier during weekly inter-club practices during the season. In recent weeks, beat both a talented CO School of Mines Club team and top seeded team in the CASL playoffs, Valencia.

PREMIER v UNITED PLAYOFF HISTORY: 1-1
– United won first ever FCD v FCD Playoff matchup in Spring 2010 as now GM/Member of Board, then United Captain/Coach, Luke Elbin beat longtime friend /businesses partner, and also Member of Board, then Premier Captain/Coach, Kyle Firebaugh 1-0 behind an excellent goal from Lio DelPiccolo.
– Premier won most recent playoff matchup in Spring of 2015. Game was won in OT (1-1 in regulation) as Luke Elbin, then Premier coach, beat now Premier coach, then United coach, Drew Melin 2-1 in epic battle of the squads. In a crazy twist of fate, Lio Delpiccolo also scored for United in this game, but it wasn’t enough as Premier triumphed.

We celebrate all of our players and may the best team win!

This Sunday, we celebrate FC Denver! Beers on Fulton!
