Rain or Shine

Every spring we prepare for the changing of the seasons and get ready for the rain to come in and the temperatures to warm up. For soccer players in Colorado these changes can help keep the game unpredictable. We never know whether or not we really are going to have the sunshine and 80 degrees like the forecast said, or if the clouds are going to roll in with the wind and it’s going to feel like a more frigid 50. We never know what we’re going to get. We only know that we’re going to play in, and through, all of it. We are ready for the spring storms, the sweltering heat, the intense wind, and the most beautiful calm days. We’ll take it all, so long as we get to keep playing.
