ANNOUNCEMENT: FC Denver Appoint Peter Bunting as Men's Head Coach

FC Denver announced today that the club has appointed Peter Bunting as the head coach of it’s flagship men’s team. Bunting, joins the Premier team after a semi-professional soccer career and extensive youth soccer coaching experience, most recently serving as FC Denver U19/U23 head coach.

“This is an important step for our club,” said FC Denver President, Eric Fulton. “Coach Peter brings a host of qualities and experience we feel like will help our Premier team grow in preparation, professionalism, and personality. We have an excellent foundation of talented and committed players, as witnessed from our 2018 and 2019 US Open Cup Qualification, and we expect this appointment to continue our progression.”

“It's an honor and privilege to be appointed Head Coach for FC Denver's Premier and US Open Cup team," said Peter Bunting. “This is a coveted position, one that I don't take lightly. The overall talent and skill level of the guys, for me is the absolute best in the area. I relish the opportunity of being able to roll up our sleeves and go to work getting prepared for the upcoming spring CPL season, and ahead to 2020 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup qualifying."

Over the last 47 years in the game, Coach Bunting has just about worn every hat that there is out on the pitch. He's played in State, Regional, and National Championships as a player, in High School, College, and the USISL, as well as, figured out how to do the same thing as a coach teaching his players/teams over the years to reach these same milestones under his tutelage.

Coach Buntings undying love for the game, unrelenting desire to succeed, coupled with his passion to lead & life's purpose of helping people succeed in their own lives, makes this appointment with FC Denvers Premiere Team a perfect fit!
